Economic Development Association Organized in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- The Economic Development Association was organized in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. As a non-governmental organization, it helps foreign businesses and entities to get a better knowledge of special economic zones in the DPRK and to make investments in them. It is also working to assist business activities of foreign investors in the zones. As part of its first work, it hosted the Pyongyang International Conference on Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Development in Pyongyang starting from Wednesday, attended by economists from Canada, Malaysia and the United States.
